The winner of our Thanksgiving Page Contest is Ann Holm. Congratulations, Ann! You may pick up your $50 Gift Certificate whenever you're ready. It was beautifully done, and very heartwarming. I especially loved the series of photos showing your husband and son. We'll have your layouts on display in the store until January 1st, at which time you can come pick them up. I'm sure you'll want to keep these for your album!

Our Christmas File Folder Pocket Book is tomorrow, Wednesday, December 5th at 6:30 PM. The cost is only $10, and it will only take about an hour to make (if that long). Please call us if you want to sign up, it's not too late. We still have a few spots open.

This Sunday we are open Noon to 4:00 PM, and we will be having a free Designer Frame Workshop, hosted by Felix! This workshop has limited space, so make sure you come in as early as possible so you'll get to do one. It is based on the frame that our designer Charlotte M. made for us. You can see a sample of hers on our website Design Team gallery (http://www.scrappersaurus.com/07designerChar.html - scroll down, it's the 2nd entry in her gallery after her bio).

We are currently running a SPECIAL ON GIFT CERTIFICATES. If you purchase $50 in gift certificates (combined or just one), you will receive a FREE $10 Gift Certificate for yourself or to give away to someone else. Although we have several signs posted in the store, it appears that a lot of people do not read signs, and miss this information! So far, we've had a very good response to this program, and encourage you to join in and get yours. Remember, sometimes its really hard to get a person EXACTLY what they want for Christmas, but if you know they like to do papercrafting or stamping, a Gift Certificate for Scrappersaurus ensures that they get precisely what they can use and will love! People are even purchasing Gift Certificates for themselves to use at upcoming events (ScrapFest! in February 2008), and receiving free Gift Certificates to boot! That's an excellent way to plan ahead and be sure you have enough cash for shopping for all your goodies at the show.

We received in more Christmas papers and embellishments. Die Cuts With a View embellishments, and Autumn Leaves Holly Jolly paper collection. The papers are double-sided, cardstock weight, and are perfect for cards and other papercrafting projects, as well as layouts. We also got in a couple more Retro Christmas papers and embellishments from Karen Foster to go with the line we already had in stock. More options!

TIP OF THE DAY
Have you worked with Diamond Glaze yet? It is considered a "dimensional adhesive" because while it is a regular adhesive that you can use (with excellent results!) with glitters and microbeads, you can also apply it in a thicker coating, or in layers, to achieve an epoxy-like finish on your stickers, diecuts, or whatever you're using it with. It dries crystal clear, and you can mix it with pigment powders and acrylic paints and "paint" it on. Emery has used it extensively, and his specialty Halloween brads (jack-o-lanterns and witches) were made using the Diamond Glaze. If you haven't had the chance to work with it yet, stop in and we'll give you a free sample to try out. When you decide just how versatile and useful this one simple product is, you can come back and purchase a larger bottle. We even carry a jumbo size bottle for those of you who use it on EVERYthing! MY favorite use for it is sealing in glitter so it doesn't come off your project.

Until next time, happy scrapping!

Dee
